This was a 10ft by 4ft huge claro walnut slab with 1.5" thick lucite legs that we made for client in Texas. She wanted to give it the appearance of floating in her dining room and the lucite legs certainly pulled that off. The slab itself was stunning. We sent her around 5 or 6 slabs to pick from and we settled on this on. Raw or live edges and all the voids and cracks were filled witih a dark resin to make it funcitnoal without loosing the character of the table.
