Salvaged Claro Walnut bent steel dining table
This was such a great table made out of claro walnut and a single slab of steel cut and bent into a really sleek pedestal base. This table was around 100x40w. In claro it's $6200 and in monkeypod or mango wood, it's more in the $4350 range. Of course you can order it in any size or any wood you want. For more photos click

Reclaimed monkeypod divingboard desk
This is a great waterfall grain diving board table, using a 2" thick lucite leg. Like all of our pieces in this section, this was made and sold to a client according to ther specification, so you can also order it any way you please. . . .we are so dang accomodating.

Claro Walnut live edge oval dining table
This is a beautiful bookmatched claro walnut dining table with chrome legs around 5ft by 7ft. We did it with partial raw or "live" edges. The design, as is the case with all of our custom pieces, can be done with any of our woods or legs and we have several other photos of this piece, so

Bookmatched reclaimed monkeypod table, chrome U leg
First of all, could we have moved the broom and stuff in the background? You would think so. Anyway this is a variation on our standard U leg table: chrome. Frankly the chroming process is a pain in the neck, but the result is awesome. That's also why it costs $600 or so more than the normal U leg. Really, it's such a great look.
FSC certified teak slab console
This is a beautiful teak slab with five or six layers of a low lustre poly on steel slab legs. Orderable in any wood, any size.
Reclaimed mango wood dining table, bronzed steel U legs
A 9ft long by 48" wide bookmatched mango table with a medium teak oil stain. Really amazing grain. Like everything else in this section, we can do all sorts of variations on this theme.
Crosscut cube side table
These are great, cubed up side tables/stools. Looks somewhat simple, but turns out it's a lot of work to make it look this good.
Chrome T leg with claro walnut raw edge slab top
A beautiful cathedral grained claro walnut slab dining table, around 8ft long by 3ft wide with a custom chrome leg base. Any of our legs can be done in chrome, and of course, you could do this table in any of our woods. For example - same table in monkeypod would be aorund $4100. Click
here for more images.
Cedar root table
Reclaimed cedar root coffee table with raw, blackened edges. It's a great, clean, organic look. Orderable.
Cross legged table, claro walnut
This is a great big slab of claro walnut on a steel cross leg base. Like all of our other pieces, we can do this in any wood, and finish on the steel (like blackened, bronzed or chrome) and in any size. Really, we can do pretty much anything you want as long as it's relatively legal and involves furniture. Click
here for more images.
Rorschach table
This is actually quite difficult to make. We match up perfectly four consecutive crosscuts from a tree so the grains come perfectly together forming the famous visual test. It's of course custom made, so we can do it any size, with fewer holes, more holes, glass top, different legs etc. What you choose to see in it is between you and your subconscious.
patchwork table
The patchwork table — made of various slabs and cool remnants. To do this, we map the whole table out several times to get it looking the way we want, and then we fit all the pieces of the puzzle together. It's custom orderable — in any size and any variety of woods, any combination of woods, more patchy, less patchy, different legs, different stains . . .anyway, here are some
more photos.Bookmatched claro walnut slab dining table
Dining table made of three bookmatched slabs of claro walnut and the legs are attached using custom steel brackets which give more leg room. With the raw edge, we set the legs in a couple inches from the edges, but if you choose to do it with a straight edge, we could bring the legs right up to the corners of the table. Custom orderable in a variety of woods and price points.
bent steel coffee table
A different base to our raw edge coffee table - a single slab of steel bent into a nicely curving slab leg with a bronzed finish. ORderable in virtually any size. As seen is 44x24x18
two level coffee table
Sure, there is nothing unusual about the design, but we came up with some great salvaged walnut from a local farm, and this is the result. Very functional, nice and clean with a modern yet relaxed feel. The coffee table is $2250, the side table sare $850 a piece.
Three legged desk
This was a huge desk we made for a client's office, out of reclaimed monkeypod - a long single slab around 150" - over 12 feet long, thus the three legged-ness.
Benches
Sure, they are a pretty straight forward pair of benches, but they're really nice. In this case we used two bookmatched slabs so they go well together, as well as using one long slab for each piece so the grain is continuous up one leg, along the top and down the other. Orderable in any wood, any size, and the price is for one 7ft bench - not a pair.
walnut slab platform bed
This is a wonderful claro walnut slab platform bed made with cantilevered drawers. We can also do this in reclaimed monkeypod, reclaimed mango or salvaged redwood, and each of those would cut the price in half, but the claro walnut is pretty spectacular stuff.

walnut slab bent steel dining table
This is a spectacular claro walnut slab dining table, it's hard to tell in the photo, but it's huge: 10ft long with a raw edge. The base is made out of a single slab of steel cut and bent to our specifications. If we did this table in a different wood like monkeypod or mango, the price would drop below $5000, but the walnut is really great.
Walnut slab with lucite legs
This is a great balance between the "organic-ness" of the walnut slab and the modern feel of the 2" thick lucite slabs. Full disclosure, walnut is quite a bit more expensive than our other woods, but it is quite spectacular with the tight, flowing grain, the overall dark tone accented by purples, ivoires and golds. Of course we can quote it in any wood you want.
Sapwood-less slab table
Sure, it's not the greatest name for a table that we have come up with, but the client that ordered this table wanted monkeypod, but didn't want the light edge (called the sapwood) that is a part of monkeypod, but they also wanted a raw or "live" edge, so we followed the grain between the sapwood and the center wood to give it a live edge. And put in four butterfly to re-enforce a crack at the end. Anyway, it's a great looking table.
The oval
This is just to prove that we know our baisic shapes: squares, rectangles, ovals, circles, triangles. Whatever shape you want your table to be in, we can probably make it. All it takes is the right diet, a good exercise regimen, and a positive attitude. . . . or a saw that can turn corners on a slab of wood and someone that knows how to use it.
Reclaimed Monkeypod slab dining table
It's hard to tell the scale here, but this was a huge slab of monkeypod - around 44" wide by 110" long that went to a client in Hawaii. It's using out U leg in a bronzed patina and, of course, is orderable in your size, stain and wood type. To see more photos,

Diving board with "U" leg
This is our new "U" leg on our diving board table. This particular one is 10ft long made for a client's entryway. It was a truly spectacular piece. Of course you can order it in a far more reasonable size or in this crazy large size. Either way is fine with us - just go to our
diving board collection to get a better idea of pricing, leg choices and other stuff.
U leg table
This is a great new leg for us. A soft gradual taper combined with the raw steel that ofsets the beautiful wood slab - in this case monkeypod with a medium stain, raw edges and butterfly joints - makes a great urban modern organic table. Orderable in different woods, stains and sizes.
Reclaimed redwood console
This was a great chunk of reclaimed redwood with some beautiful burling in the wood. The great contrast between the cleanly cut and finished surfaces and the raw wood gave it a wonderful modern organic feel. All of these pieces are custom ordered, so track us down if you want one (and you should want one). To see more photos,

Reclaimed monkeypod miter console
This is a huge console that we made for a client - seven feet long - made out of one long slab of reclaimed monkeypod. Because we use a mitered joint for the legs, the grain runs the continuously along the whole piece. To see more photos of this piece,

These are two coffee tables - a small and a large - made from reclaimed slabs of monkeypod. The small one in the front has a nice little butterfly joint and they are both made with wood slab legs and have raw edges. To see more from our slab table collection,

Sure it looks simple, but the way we do it - its not. We start with a bookmatched pair of slabs rather than two random slabs. That way the shelves are mirror immages. We cut part of the edges straight, but let the parts that recess stay raw. It actually takes quite a bit of work to make something that looks so simple and clean.
Six foot square dining table, reclaimed monkey pod slabs
This is one of my most favourite pieces we have made as of late. A big six foot square dining table. It's made of two sets of bookmatched slabs, and has four "fin" legs. Custom order-able. To read/see more on it,

waterfall grain miter console
This is from our miter table collection, orderable in a console, coffee table, side table or desk, with or without raw edges
(second photo). To see more from this collection,

Reclaimed monkey pod slab dining table
Our slab leg table, available as a coffee table, console and side table, with wood, steel or glass slab legs. Redwood Joist bench
A bench made from old lumber mill redwood floor joists, orderable
in any size, straight edges or raw edges, price range from $550 to
$1100 depending on size. One of the great things about this is it is old growth redwood which means it is much darker with ocasional hints of purple - stunning. Its also stainable if you would like it
darker.
Ribbon burl side table
A pair if ribbon burl top side tables with solid square rod base. Each retails for $645.
Tiger stripe console
Close-up of tiger stripe console.
tiger stripe console
This is actually ribbon redwood with a dark stain on it. Its the stain that brings out the ribboning, but to us, its clearly a tiger stripe and quite spectacular. This type of wood is rare, but can be used for dining tables and coffee tables as well. To read more about our miter collection,

Root console
I get the raw lumber from a guy who removes these huge stumps that have
been left dotting the area from the big lumber days of the late
1800's. This is
a big piece - around 24x72x36 - with beautiful burling throughout. It can be used either as a large
console or a dining table.
Redwood pedestals
These are made from a dismanteled railway bridge that was made out of
solid redwood in the 1800's. Very clean lined simple shape to show off the
wood and all of the distress that the life of a railway bridge pillar
offers - some of them we left with one side raw to reflect it's
original architectural use, the tall one we finished all sides. Tall $450, small $250.
Teak cross cut table
I probably should have photographed these separately, but they look so nice together. Each table is a single cross cut of teak on steel slab legs, and each one costs $750. Available in a double and foursome as well. To find out more about our cros cut collection,
Straight edge coffee table
Pretty self explanitory. Its a coffee table. But even with something as simple as this, we put a lot of effort into finding the right slabs of wood to suit our client's needs, and we add butterfly joints when/where needed to structurally enforce natural cracking in the wood. A great effect.
Ribbon redwood
Our Curly Slab Table in reclaimed redwood is really, really gorgeous.
Created from two book-matched slabs, it has the "captured light"
that looks like a tiger stripe. The person that bought this got it without legs so they could put their own on. A rare piece of wood.
Double cross table
We took two crosscut pieces of teak from the same log, one from on top of the
other so their grains match and put the together to make a larger
butterfly shaped table. We also do this style with a single cross cut as well as a with three and four pieces. To read more about this colleciton,
Diving board table
This design is out of a single plank of wood that uses a mitered leg that gives a continuous
"waterfall" grain and a steel slab leg - also available in a glass leg
for a more floating look. This one is 6ft long made of Cuban Mahogany. To read more about our diving board collection,
Foursome crosscut table
This stunning table is created by joining four "book-matched" teak
crosscuts, aligning them so the wood grain pattern flows from one one
piece to the next. Its actually a pretty difficult thing to pull off, not only technically but also in simply finding four bookmatched pieces of wood that will work for the design. Also available in a single and double. To find out more about our cross cut collection,

Cuban Mahogany coffee table pair
This is a pair of coffee tables made of two book matched pieces of
Cuban Mahogany each around 78" long with steel slab legs. They were
done for a particular client's store out east, we could have also put the two slabs together to make a wider single coffee table, just to put ideas in your head.
Semi raw edge slab dining table
This is a 42x96" dining table made of solid mango wood with a dark stain. The edges have a straight line cut down them, but we also left some of the natural inward curves to give it a nice combination between a straight and raw edge. To findo ut more about our slab table collection,
